Obsessive Compulsive Design (OCD) : characterized by creative thought which produces amazing design through utilization of simple solutions, originality, ingenuity, or even genius; or by a combination of such obsessions and compulsions. 

 

OCD is often used in an informal or caricatured manner to describe someone who is excessively meticulous, perfectionistic, absorbed, or otherwise fixated with design.

 

Symptoms of OCD include excessive sketching or drawing; repeated daydreaming; extreme hoarding of model making materials.
